"This morning - Merolla says in his office back in town after only a couple of hours of rest - you have completed the Journey of Remembrance. I travel a lot and felt a part. I'm really pleased with how it went and proud group of students, careful and diligent, who gave an excellent image of our province and our shared knowing perfectly interpret the true meaning of this experience. I thank all carers, both administrators and teachers and parents, who have shared moments with the boys at times, especially his visits to the camps where I saw some plow face by a tear. As I have said is not a school trip but a real journey into one of the saddest chapters in human history. Why was this experience that has enriched me and thanks to whom I have shared special moments and feelings as when I heard the guys talking at the exit of the visit to the crematoria of Auschwitz, or in the Jewish Quarter or watching Schindler's factory. To see them with their own eyes what they read in books was of great emotional impact, I am sure, has given way to form their character and cultural enrichment. I saw them with absolute attention to listen to the guides and eyes dipped to imagine the scene told.
honestly the first thought of today, just to get off the tank is what I have to wait a whole year before you can again share the same strong emotions that the children of our province and I Tanker have all succeeded in the past few days. "
