Plans To Make A Rabbit Hutch

Postcard from Versilia



I am safely back from the trip to the land of Versilia (400 km below the flood), for Terre di Toscana 2011 .
Given the number of events, 120 Tuscan producers, 500 wines for tasting, I will not try even to make a record, but I would simply point out only the products that I am most liked among those, about fifty, which I arbitrarily tasted (I pointed out the labels of the older vintages):

  • Podere San Giacomo , Brunello di Montalcino 2006 Poggio
  • Argentiera , Capatosta 2008 and 1999 (anxiously waiting for 2009 )
  • Salustri, Santa Marta Montecucco 2007
  • Sesti, 2009 Rosso di Montalcino, Brunello di Montalcino 2006, 2005 and Reserve Phenomena 2003
  • Estate Collosorbo , Brunello di Montalcino 2006, 2004 and Reserve 1998.
gastronomic organization appreciates the effort that has brought finger food quality effort that, unfortunately, every year is overshadowed by the true finger food Tuscan salami made of moving ( Gombitelli all) and cheese sensational.
Overall a successful event that provides several keys to learn or improve the Tuscan wine: ripe given the size, I would recommend the day on Monday (tomorrow) to visit, maybe a few bottles of cry will be exhausted, but the cries fade away.
